Multiply.com, the web host for our sister site, Friends of Narcissists, has followed through with its intention to shut down social media services.
As I mentioned below, I have a copy of the archives. It's formatted such that it might, with a bit of work and a suitable server platform, be reposted on the web. I don't necessarily see this happening, but it's at least possible.
Our sister site, Friends of Narcissists link, is hosted on a social media platform called Multiply in the process of changing its business model and terminating some of its services. December 1, 2012 was the date announced for these changes to take place.
As of the date of this post Friends of Narcissists is still up and fully functional. Whether it will remain so is not clear since Multiply's communications leave much unanswered. But Multiply is now saying further changes are to come.
Whether or not these upcoming changes will affect the hosting of Friends of Narcissists remains to be seen. Stay tuned. Sorry about the uncertainty.
Good news, it looks like Friends of Narcissists is still online. The host's link shutdown announcement apparently did not apply to us. Only selected social networking services are ending. Sorry about the confusion.
Our sister site, Friends of Narcissists, will go off line on December 1,2012, as I was unable to find it a new home. On the bright side, all of its posts are saved and accessible. Please contact me for access: mail.
